The business

How Future Water Technologies works

Future Water Technologies started from a straightforward observation: most wastewater treatment failures aren’t infrastructure problems. They’re biology problems — and most operators were being sold capital works projects to fix something a correctly dosed bacterial treatment could resolve in weeks.

Brendon works directly with site operators across dairy, egg processing, chipboard manufacturing, mining, wineries, abattoirs and councils — and alongside the wastewater consultants those sites already use, including HydroTech and others. The model is straightforward: assess the actual cause, recommend the right product, monitor the result.

The business is Queensland-based and works on sites across Australia. Treatment products ship nationally; site visits are planned around client needs.

“The job isn’t to sell a product. The job is to fix the pond. Sometimes that’s bacteria, sometimes it’s aeration, sometimes it’s both — and sometimes I tell a client their infrastructure genuinely is undersized. That honesty is what keeps people coming back.”

Experience

Fourteen years across eight industries

2011

Founded Future Water Technologies

Started working directly with agricultural and industrial operators on wastewater treatment, building the client base that’s now spread across eight sectors.

Ongoing

Agricultural & food processing

Dairy, egg processing, wineries and abattoirs — the sectors with the highest organic loads and the most consistent demand for biological treatment.

Ongoing

Industrial & mining

Chipboard, panel manufacturing and mine sites where hydrocarbon content and remote logistics require a different class of product and approach.

Ongoing

Municipal & council

Working with local government lagoons where compliance and community expectation create a different set of pressures on the operator.

Now

Queensland-based, nationwide

Relocated to Queensland, continuing to serve existing clients nationally and building a new client base across Queensland’s agricultural and industrial sectors.

Working with consultants

A resource for your clients, not a competitor

For wastewater consultants

A product supplier you can trust to give straight advice

Brendon works alongside consultants — not around them. If you’re assessing a site and biological treatment is part of the solution, he can supply the product and manage the dosing program while you retain the client relationship.

For referral partners

A structured arrangement, not an ad hoc referral

If you’re regularly encountering clients with wastewater problems this product range can solve, it’s worth formalising. Referral terms, co-branded material and joint site visits can all be arranged.

For site operators

Direct access, no intermediary required

You can also come directly to Brendon without a consultant — particularly for operators who know what’s wrong and want a product-and-dosing recommendation without a full consultancy engagement.
